Things continue to go well, though this time it is Caleb who is down the head cold I had a few days ago. He felt pretty crummy this morning, so he and I opted for taking the train the 15 km from Cadavedo to Luacra, while the rest of our Camino friends enjoyed the short walk. We got into the albergue at noon, and he has been sleeping ever since. We’ll see how he feels tomorrow, but we do have albergue options at 15, 23, or 30 km, or if needed there is always the train again.
It has been some beautiful walking these past few days in this quieter and more relaxed part of Spain.

Welcome to the jungle!
A beautiful church in worship the small town of El Pito.

A feat of engineering that kept all the traffic off of the 2 lane highway we walked.

Playa del Silenco. I would have loved to spend more time there, but with no albergue nearby, we had to keep moving.

And finally shot of the train station on Cadavedo. There’s some photo opps in Luarca, but I am going to wait until this evening at sundown to shoot 🙂

Sorry to hear there’s been sickness! Glad your spirits are up and enjoying flexibility in the journey, though…love these pictures!
Praying for Caleb to rest well and feel better. Meanwhile, enjoy the break and the photo op!
Thanks! He’s doing much better today.
